Last product I have here for you to review from BeautyBigBang.com is this gorgeous Purple Neon Aurora Nail Pigment, SKU: J2854-3C, $2.99
Powder came in sealed container that was filled by weight rather than volume, and it may seem that there is almost nothing in, but little goes long way, and trust me, you will have enough for few manicures. Those powders also come in few colors, so you can choose which color you like the best.
This one has major color to be purple, with the shift into a green over the gold. That would be when you apply this powder to darker colors, and I did applied it over the black.
I used regular polish for this review because I have some damage on them due the construction work I was doing few weeks ago, and was really unwilling to use any gel over them.
On this macro you can actually see the color shift, and I have to tell you, it is pretty impressive in person.
On lighter colors, and I used white nail polish, this powder would show rather greenish or aqua, with the shift into a lilac over the blue.
I found both shifts really pretty, and I love that you can choose which color you want it to be dominant. Naturally, effect over the white is really soft, and in many ways reminded me of abalone shell, but in the shot above, it looks like an opal with the flakies of stronger color scattered all around.
I rubbed the powder using my finger, even though it comes with eye shadow applicator. It is just that I feel like I have more control over my finger, than over the applicator. I also seen many people using silicone brushes for application, but I have to admit that I did not find them easy to work with, and my success with them was rather small...
To protect this multi chrome finish, I used Water based top coat, and that always do the trick for me.
This looked so pretty in person.
I wanted to try out one of the images from the BeautyBigBang 05 stamping plate for stamping. I have to say it myself, I was in love with this look.
